Hope is an energy. You can’t lose it like your keys or misplace it like your glasses.
It’s a constant never-ending energy like love.
For me, when I was faced with traumatic life moments, dealing with a loss or ending a toxic relationship, I did have feelings of hopelessness. I remember feeling as if this current circumstance would never end and I would be stuck in this crushing pain.
Have you ever felt that way? What I know now is you feel hope like love and sometimes you are engulfed in the feeling and sometimes you are distant from that strong flow.
You can never truly lose hope.
Collectively we need to anchor in hope for ourselves and the entire planet. We can choose to make a commitment to intent hopefulness daily. But what about those days when you don’t or simply feel you can’t?
Feeling hopeless is an emotion and if we name it, acknowledge it and release it for curious investigation to its underbelly you are healed in a moment. (You might want to visit my blog where I share The Feeling Wheel.)
Our emotions are messy. They can get messy and erupt into sadness or hopelessness, anger or upset but they can erupt into happiness, contentment, certainty and love.
And we have the power and intention behind our mind to steer our emotions.
So ask yourself:
- Am I in fear?
- Am I In love?
Or
- What do I feel?
- What do I need?
If you’re having difficulties getting some feedback from those self-querying questions, try putting your hand on your heart, breathing in through your nose, out through your mouth and ask again with a calm voice.
You can never truly lose hope. I promise you, it’s a feeling in a moment, a wave of emotions and those emotions are telling you something if we just be with them and listen.
BTW, if you are feeling you have lost hope please book now for your complimentary session. I’ll hold your hope for you until we speak!
