Heartbreak Waves & Shadow Releasing

How can we not feel heartbreak waves right now when we are constantly being shown — almost force-fed — the harshness and heaviness of the world?

There is a sense that something darker is having a giant temper tantrum. Like a toddler pounding its fists on the floor, it grows louder, more chaotic, more desperate before it finally exhausts itself.

And still, I wonder:
Will it ever wear itself out?
Will the LOVE wave finally take root so a more balanced way of living can emerge?

Because here’s the thing — so much of what we are shown is the bad, the ugly, the divisive. The noise has become outrageously overwhelming.

So I return to nature.

I walk barefoot whenever I can. I listen to the early morning bird songs. I sit quietly with the interconnectedness of life. And recently, I had a deep realization:

It’s already over.

The old systems we once found comfort in are collapsing under the weight of their own exposure. The underbelly has turned upward, and the light is shining directly on it.

What many of us are feeling are both grief waves and relief waves at the same time.

What many of us are feeling are both grief waves and relief waves at the same time.

If you are riding your own emotional waves while also absorbing the heaviness around others, strengthen your grounding practices right now.

Deepen the familiar pathways: Intention. Gratitude. Prayer. Nature. Breath. Journaling. Ritual. Rest.

Even if they feel less effective at times, believe me — they are still working.

Healing is not always loud.
Sometimes it looks like crying for no reason.
Sometimes it looks like exhaustion.
Sometimes it looks like finally releasing what was never yours to carry.

And sometimes, it simply looks like choosing love anyway.

If this piece resonated with you, maybe your heart is asking for a little support too.
