How to Get Pregnant

Have you just Googled “How to get pregnant”?

That might mean that you’re experiencing a conflict from what you thought would happen to what is currently happening. Perhaps, months have gone by and your period arrives right on schedule and you’re feeling something is just not right. Or you have received a diagnosis of infertility.

Here are three things your can do right now:

  1. Take a deep breath, you’re not alone and there is support. The fact that you’re asking “How to get pregnant” means you’re taking action.
  2. Get check by a doctor! Us girls should make an appointment with your OB/GYN who might refer you to a reproductive endocrinologist. Guys, go see your primary care or make an appointment with a reproductive urologist. If there is a reproductive issue, the statistics are 40% female, 40% male and 20% unknown. So it’s important for both partners to see a doctor.
  3. Create a Fertility Game Plan! Be sure to include what your mind, body and spirit needs during this time, with a focus on self-care. It’s a scary thing when you’re actively trying to get pregnant and it just doesn’t seem to be working. Maybe you don’t know where start? Or stuck in the middle of chaos?
