How to Refresh Your Mind, Body, Emotions & Spirit this Spring!
Lately, I’ve been reaching for pink clothing from my closet—not the bold, Barbie pink (though I love that shade too!) but the soft, pastel pink of rose quartz. It feels like an extension of the season, a gentle awakening unfolding even as the air still carries a chill here in the Northeast.
Spring arrives with a different energy, a pastel-pink kind of feeling—subtle, yet undeniable.
The other day, I couldn’t resist it any longer. I stepped onto my deck, feet pressing into the cool grass, and let myself sink into the energy of the tiny crocuses peeking through the earth. As the wind moved through the bare branches, I felt it—the shift, the stirring, the quiet awakening.
With spring, I notice my self-care rituals evolving, too. I find myself leaning into the air element—clearing energy with bells, singing bowls, and soft music—rather than fire. Less smudging, more resonance. It feels lighter, more in tune with the season of renewal. (Perhaps a counterbalance to all the outside overwhelmingly heartbreaking things)
The Energy of Rose Quartz
Unsurprisingly, I’ve been drawn to the soft pink hues of rose quartz this season. Known as the stone of unconditional love, rose quartz is deeply connected to the heart chakra, helping to open us up to love, healing, and self-compassion.
✨ Self-Love: Encourages emotional healing and the ability to receive love.
Jewelry: Often used in necklaces, bracelets, rings, and pendants to carry its energy close.
Home Decor: Placing rose quartz in your home or workspace is said to bring balance, serenity, and joy.
Grief & Emotional Healing: A powerful ally for processing loss and life’s emotional hardships.
As the seasons shift, I’m leaning into these small rituals and reminders—ways to honor renewal, softness, and the gentle unfolding of what’s to come.
